If you've read a few of my other posts, you will know that I am all about saving money (my husband may make the money, but I help us keep it). I never throw anything away in my kitchen. If I have something that is about to go south, I find a recipe (or create one) and use that stuff up! It has been really fun to push my creativity to the brink in the kitchen. This really helps to hone in on those cooking skills and push yourself to the next level, while saving mad money in the process. Becoming a penny-pincher in the kitchen has enabled my family and me to do other things with that cash, such as pay for more clothing and activities for my son, have more family outings, go out on date nights, and put some aside for a rainy day. It's that important. If you're looking for ways to save money, the kitchen is a great place to start!
